Network and Regional Group Dinners – Friday, 20 April 2007
Very often, half the fun of coming to Conference is the ability to network and chat informally with colleagues with whom we may have collaborated over the years, but never met, or with people we have come to know with through our network memberships. While there will be plenty of options during the Conference for networking, we feel many people would appreciate the opportunity to meet informally before conference starts. Traditionally, it has been left up to network and regional group coordinators to arrange their own meetings or dinners, but this year we want to take the strain.
The venue for this year's conference, the Rembrandt Hotel, offers a well-priced, buffet-style carvery in a spacious room that can accommodate
up to 120 people. The buffet nature of the meal gives participants the opportunity to visit the tables of several networks
of which they may be members or potential members.
Network coordinators can contact Anna George of the Western Regional Group and ITI Events Committee for information on how ITI can help reserve a table. If you belong to a Network or Regional Group, please contact it to see what has been arranged. Otherwise, even if you are not yet or not currently a member of a Network or Regional Group you are still welcome to invite yourself to whatever Network or Regional Group you think is most suitable for you. For details see the ITI website and choose ITI Groups from the menu.
