Luca Salice FITI

Luca Salice has a background in chemistry and philosophy and has worked since the mid 1980s as a freelance translator and interpreter in London, specializing in the bio-sciences and in the environment. Luca was a founder member of the ITI and has been active over the years in various roles within the Institute; he is currently vice-chair of admissions and a tutor in the Peer Support Group.

A keen lover of opera, Luca is also active in local campaigns in support of good education for all and to reduce car use. Since moving to a designer council estate in one of Britain's poorest wards he has also developed an interest in social architecture. He is a trustee of a charity dealing with human rights and international humanitarian law in Palestine.

Luca is separated and has three children.
