The way we work has changed: on the one hand an increasing number of people are choosing freelancing over more traditional employment options, while on the other the business tools that freelancers can benefit from are growing and constantly pushing them to reschedule plans, develop new skills, spend more time studying or working at very unpredictable hours.
A profound change is needed. This is why, in 2012, all 193 United Nations member states officialised balance and happiness as a human right and created the International Day of Happiness.
And by ‘happiness’ the UNGA means: “an idea of progress based on a balanced approach to business and economic growth able to include well-being and health”.
During this presentation we will talk about exercise and see how it is connected to the idea of ‘business’ and ‘happiness’ and how the busy freelancer can benefit from ditching the desk and starting to live a healthy lifestyle.
Working out has many positive benefits for our body, mind and business. And rejuvenating our lifestyle is important to refresh our business and have a positive impact on society.
The presentation is aimed new and experienced freelancers alike willing to learn more about the benefits of exercise and strike a positive work-life balance.
