Making beautiful music

Inspired by the 2013 conference’s Singing Translators, several ITI musicians have arranged to get together and sight-read some chamber music in the Hilton lobby on Friday April 24, between the final talk of the day and the pre-dinner drinks. It will be an impromptu ensemble, so a ‘warts and all’ play-through rather than a polished performance, but many of those taking part are professional standard, so it should be enjoyable for listeners as well as the players. The repertoire is likely to cover some classics (string quartets and the like), but also include a few lighter modern pieces such as film or TV themes.
