Not sure who to ask for general advice about your career in translation & interpreting? While ITI Fellows may not have all the answers, they have a wealth of experience and will often know who to turn to for more specific assistance. With this in mind, there will be a ‘FITI helpdesk’ in the Green Room, manned during all breaks – simply turn up and have an informal chat. Needless to say, nothing discussed there should be regarded as authoritative legal advice (that’s what the ITI Legal Helpline is for), but it may help to give you a different perspective on whatever particular issues you’re facing.
